Camilla Parker-Bowles
Camilla Parker-Bowles, AKA the Duchess of Cornwall, almost had a fashion disaster while attending the christening of Princess Charlotte, her husband Prince Charles' granddaughter. An aggressive gust of wind threw up the skirt of Camilla's dress, but she held it down with her handbag and laughed it off.
prince harry
Usually a "wardrobe malfunction" is an accident, but Prince Harry quite deliberately wore a Nazi-themed shirt with an eagle insignia and a swastika armband to a costume party in 2005. This mistake feels even more cringeworthy, considering that Harry is now one of the more progressive members of the royal family.
Princess Beatrice
Princess Beatrice, daughter of Prince Andrew, wore a mesh dress to a V&A Museum shindig in 2017. She posed for photographers with her Spanx in glaring sight; while there's no shame in wearing shapewear, Beatrice was unfortunately subject to plenty of tabloid scrutiny in the aftermath, being a younger royal.
Queen Elizabeth
In 2011, Queen Elizabeth II paid a visit to her grandson Prince William at a Royal Air Force search and rescue facility. As the queen exited her jet, a 50-miles-per-hour wind nearly stole her fancy red hat, but she held onto it and continued onward; William later quipped to his grandma, "I was worried your hat would blow off!"
kate middleton
In 2014, Kate Middleton exited a helicopter, and gusts of air from the propeller blew up the skirt of her Diane von Furstenberg dress, exposing her bottom. A photographer who snapped a photo of Middleton's backside sold it to a German publication, but decided to donate the money to a fire relief organization.
